EASTBURY COMMUNITY SCHOOL
Barking, Essex

BG Glazing Group worked in collaboration with Quill Construction to survey, supply and install a bespoke 21.5mm toughened and laminated glass canopy. To start the project we surveyed and templated the area to ensure the install would run smoothly, due to the raking of the panels and hole alignment we had to keep a close eye on the manufacturing process to make sure the fixing holes did not step when they were laminated. We achieved a 4mm +/- tolerance on the holes and all glass was aligned correctly. A Maeda crane and suction lifter was used to lift and rotate the almost 500kg glass panels into place. Overall, we turned the job around to achieve the client’s deadline and works were completed before the school reopened after half term.

REPTON BOXING CLUB
Bethnal Green, London

BG Glazing Group worked in collaboration with Seeco at the world-famous Repton Boxing Club. We completely removed the existing roof components including all glazing bars and Georgian Wire Cast glass. We then installed new aluminium glazing bars into the existing opening and re-glazed with new 7mm Georgian Wire Cast which is not only a durable product but also ensures a 30-minute integrity fire rating. The duration of the work was 5 months overall with planned time slots to allow the club to function fully.

BASILDON MARKETPLACE
Basildon, Essex

Working alongside Thomas Sinden, BG Glazing Group supplied and installed various stainless-steel handrails and posts to the Basildon Marketplace area. We also created a glass barrier around St Martins Church using 10mm toughened glass and a stainless-steel post and handrail system. With safety in mind BG Glazing installed the stainless-steel posts using stainless steel screw fixings which were then chem fixed into place. All posts and handrails are made from brushed stainless steel 316 to ensure the longevity of the product. Each area was fitted with 10mm toughened safety glass to BS6206 Class A.

HIGGINS
Market Estate, Islington

Individual glass panels are suspended on bespoke fittings, enclosing the balcony area to create an inside/outside space that allows fresh air through whilst protecting the occupant from the elements.

Within the 3-meter high sliding glass walls of the Winter Garden, BG Glazing Group also installed a frameless glass balustrade. Once again, manufactured from 21.52mm toughened and laminated clear glass, each glass panel is secured from its base in a continuous aluminium channel, creating a seamless safety barrier, finished with a tubular stainless steel handrail, seated directly on the glass.

FRUITION PROPERTIES
Notting Hill, London

The fruition properties are some of the most modern properties in the Notting Hill area and we were fortunate to work alongside our client to create there vision. During out time at the fruition property we surveyed, made and fitted the glass that they desired. We fitted 2 large glass fire rated screens, which brought light into the property as well as keeping the property fire rated. We also fitted 2 Lunax doors, which is the leading fireproof glass door at this time, the client chose to go for the EL30 models which is fireproof for 30 minutes. Overall the customer was very satisfied with their completed project.
